Who is responsible
BeHelp Logistics is the trading name of BeHelp Logistics (MCR) Ltd, company number 17403545. Registered office: 36 College Road, M16 8FH, United Kingdom. Contact us about privacy or services at contact@behelplogistics.co.uk or 07564 394 978.
Enquiries and information we use
We use names, contact details, collection and delivery addresses, load descriptions, access instructions and correspondence to respond to enquiries and arrange transport. When you press Submit enquiry, the form sends the information to FormSubmit, which processes the submission for email delivery to contact@behelplogistics.co.uk. You may be taken to its security check before completion. Submission is a request for a quote, not a confirmed booking. Please do not include card details, identity documents or unnecessary health information.
Why we use information
For customers booking their own transport, we use necessary information to take requested steps towards a contract and perform it. For business contacts and delivery recipients, we rely on legitimate interests in coordinating and completing deliveries. Accounting obligations may require billing records; our legitimate interests in resolving complaints, protecting customers and handling legal claims may require related correspondence. A quote request is not permission for unrelated marketing.
Recipients and information sources
We receive information from you or the person arranging transport. Please share this notice with anyone whose details you provide. Information is shared only as needed with people carrying out the job, service providers supporting email, website hosting and administration, and advisers, insurers or authorities where necessary. We do not sell customer information. Contact us for information about providers involved in your enquiry or booking, including any applicable overseas processing arrangements.
How long information is needed
Enquiry information is retained while needed to respond and follow up. Booking and billing records are retained as required for applicable accounting obligations and reasonably foreseeable disputes. Relevant records may be kept longer while a complaint, claim or legal hold remains unresolved. We assess retention by purpose and applicable legal requirements rather than retaining every category indefinitely. Contact us about records relating to you.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above. We may request proportionate identity checks and will respond within applicable legal timescales. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ without contacting us first.
Website technology and tracking
FormSubmit processes form submissions to deliver enquiry emails. Its security checks may use cookies and Google reCAPTCHA on its pages. Hosting and email services may also process technical request information for delivery and security. This notice does not claim that the website is cookie-free or that provider data is stored only in the UK. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Where optional technologies require consent, consent must be obtained before they are used. The current tracking page is a demonstration, not live vehicle monitoring or evidence of a real delivery. The enquiry form does not make an automated booking decision.
Community enquiries
Describe practical access and handling needs without unnecessary medical information or children’s personal details. If sensitive information is needed, we must explain its purpose and establish an appropriate legal basis before collecting it. Agreement to service terms is not blanket consent to process health information.

Service terms
1. Quotes and booking acceptance
A website enquiry is not a booking. A contract is formed when we issue written acceptance of the agreed work and price. The confirmation must identify the goods, route, collection/delivery arrangements, handling service, total charges and payment terms. These terms must be provided before acceptance. Changes apply to future bookings, not retrospectively to an existing agreement.
2. Scope and safe work
We provide the collection and delivery agreed in writing, with reasonable care and skill. Packing, dismantling, installation, specialist lifting, storage, waste removal and international transport are not included unless expressly assessed and accepted. We may decline unsafe work or work for which the necessary equipment or authorisation is unavailable. If a transport partner performs the work on our behalf, our contractual responsibility to you remains.
3. Prices and payment
Quotes depend on accurate load, distance, timing and access information. The written quote states the total price, applicable taxes, included work and payment deadline. Any deposit is specified before acceptance and credited against the price. Waiting, parking, toll, extra handling or redelivery charges must be disclosed before booking or agreed before additional work. Material changes require an agreed revised price; these terms do not authorise unspecified penalties.
4. Your responsibilities
You must own the goods or be authorised to arrange their transport. Provide accurate item counts, dimensions, weights, addresses and contact details. Disclose stairs, parking restrictions, fragile or unusually valuable items and access limitations. Unless packing is included, package and label items suitably and arrange safe access and an authorised recipient. Customer packing does not excuse damage caused by our failure to take reasonable care.
5. Restricted goods
Illegal or stolen goods are not accepted. Dangerous goods, fuels, gas cylinders, explosives, corrosives, infectious materials, firearms, live animals, temperature-controlled goods, cash, jewellery, irreplaceable documents, exceptionally valuable items and waste are not accepted under an ordinary booking. Disclose them before requesting a quote; separate assessment and any required authorisation are essential. We may stop affected work if undisclosed unsafe goods are found and arrange appropriate safe handling. This does not grant an unrestricted right to destroy or dispose of property.
6. Delivery and delays
Estimated arrival windows are distinguished from any expressly guaranteed deadline. Tell us before booking if timing is essential. We will communicate significant delays and discuss alternatives. Delivery is to the agreed recipient or a person or place expressly authorised by you. We do not leave goods unattended without authorisation. If delivery fails, we contact you about return, redelivery or suitable storage and any previously disclosed or agreed charges.
7. Cancellation and changes
Contact us promptly to request cancellation or a date change. Replacement dates depend on availability. For consumer transport-of-goods contracts specifying a date or period of performance, the usual statutory 14-day cancellation right is generally excluded by regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not make every deposit non-refundable or remove other consumer rights. Outside a statutory cancellation right, any cancellation deduction must reflect reasonable, evidenced net loss, allowing for saved costs and replacement work; we explain the calculation and refund the balance.
8. Where statutory cancellation applies
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we provide the required information and cancellation form before contracting. The normal service cancellation period is 14 days from contracting. Starting work during that period requires your express request; any lawful cancellation charge is proportionate to authorised work performed. Loss of the right after full performance requires the legally required consent and acknowledgement. Applicable statutory refund deadlines are preserved. If we cancel and no replacement is agreed, we refund unperformed services without removing any further legal entitlement.
9. Loss, damage and insurance
Report loss or damage as soon as reasonably practical, with the booking reference, description and any photographs or evidence of value. Retain packaging where possible. Signing for delivery or discovering concealed damage later does not automatically waive a valid claim. We are responsible for loss or damage for which we are legally liable. No particular insurance cover, compensation cap or trade-association membership is represented by these terms. Request any necessary cover details before booking valuable goods; declaring a value does not purchase insurance.
10. Your legal rights
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer statutory rights and remedies remain intact. Events genuinely outside reasonable control require communication and reasonable mitigation; they do not excuse avoidable failures or permit indefinite retention of payment for work not performed.
11. Complaints and disputes
Email contact@behelplogistics.co.uk or call 07564 394 978 with your booking reference, concern and preferred resolution. We investigate and explain the response and any next steps. For unresolved consumer complaints, we provide applicable alternative dispute resolution information and state whether participation is required or agreed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections or the right to use the appropriate courts where a UK consumer lives.
12. Community support
Community transport is subject to availability and written agreement about the goods, route and any charges or subsidy. It is not automatically free, a passenger service, personal care or emergency assistance. No registered charitable status is claimed. Work involving vulnerable people requires appropriate arrangements before acceptance. Call 999 in an emergency.
